diffraction spikes
Multiple spikes of light radiating outwards from a bright source of light, such as the sun. Similar to a lens flare.
Not to be confused with sparkle, which is usually for less-realistic stylized sparkles of light coming off a character, or glint, which is for light reflecting off bright and shiny objects, such as swords, jewelry, or other polished metallic objects.
